Holly

Our precious Holly needs surgery, $2,500 to $2,800 at U.C. Davis. We have already spent approximately $1,200 on Holly. She had an ultra sound last week and she has Persistent Ductus Arteriosis(sp), PDA. Which means a tiny blood vessel that stops the blood from flowing into the lungs when in the womb did not "dissolve" as it should when she was born. This is causing her heart mummer. Blood is leaving her heart and flowing into her lungs as it should but a minuscule amount still goes through this "bypass vessel". Long term her heart will enlarge and if large enough it could cause her death. Her heart is normal size now and no telling how long it will take to enlarge to be life threatening. Dr. Evans has only seen 4-5 cases in his 20 years experience. Those who know Holly can attest to the fact that she is not showing any signs of illness or heart disease at this time.

We are a non-profit organization and we have no sponsors.  We are in dire need of funds to help our little angel Holly.  If you would like to make a donation to help with her surgery please click on the donation button below.  We can only save these lives with the help of others.  Even a small donation goes a long way.

We are in dire need for safe and loving foster homes.  In this economy, so many people are surrendering their pets, and we just cannot handle the volume of requests coming in.  If you are willing to receive more love than you could possibly imagine, please consider fostering, it is truly the most rewarding thing you will ever do in your life...and I speak from experience!

Our Mission Statement: We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit canine rescue group focused on the rescue, medical needs, evaluation, rehabilitation and placement of Pomeranians.

Our objectives:

  • To provide a safe environment, the needed medical care and evaluation for Pomeranians we have rescued from shelters or are surrendered to us by their owners.

  • To match these rescued Poms with a family where we feel they will live and thrive "happily ever after".

  • To promote and educate the principles of responsible dog ownership in the home and community with an emphasis on spay and neutering all rescue/shelter animals

  • To provide a source of education and support for fanciers of Pomeranians
