An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Laptop.

Laptop

Laptop, all 6 pounds 9 ounces of him, is a little, neutered male Pomeranian that has had a miserable life up until now.  The first two years of his life he was tossed around like a ball and he was found cowering and trembling behind a garage.  His last owner's saved him from that environment but never gave him the quality time and care a doggie needs and longs for.  He can't hold his head high and proud and he won't smile because he is so embarrassed by his bad breath and teeth.  But, he will have a dental and x-rays of his neck on 3-01-10.  So, little Laptop's life is about to turn around!  Can you give this boy the life he deserves for the rest of his life and make all those bad memories and long lonely days and nights go away?

Richie

Richie is a 4-5 year old, 14 pound, Cream and white Parti-colored male Pom.  Richie was apparently a stray that was dropped off at the Sac city animal shelter.  He is a darling, sweet. loving and very well behaved little man.  He is potty trained, knows how to sit and loves to play with dogs of all sizes.  He knows his leash and gets extremely excited and springs up and down like Tigger until you leash him up and take him for a walk.  His only draw back is that he does not like to be crated.  He will be a treasure for the family that has the distinct privilege of bringing him into their heart and home.

Another pending happy tail!

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Richie.

This was Holly before she came to us.  I just cannot fathom why anyone would let this happen to a precious angel.

Holly

Holly is now a bouncing 5 pounds five ounces and ready to find her forever home.  Holly needs to be with a very active family and with another dog that matches her high spirited play.  She is a bundle of energy and would love someone that matches that vivaciousness, and that could take her on walks to help drain her energy on a daily basis.

And this is her now!

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Holly.

Salsa

Salsa is a 6 year old, micro chipped, 10 pound female Pom.  Salsa is a very friendly, sweet, loving little couch potato.  She loves to give kisses and has very soft and silky fur that is easy to care for.   She is good with other dogs and has a slight heart murmur, but is on meds to control. Salsa and Cheeka have been partners for many years and would like to stay together if possible.

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Salsa.

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Cheeka.

  Cheeka

Cheeka is a 7 year old, 9 pound,  micro chipped female Pom.  She is a bit shy at first but warms up in time.  She is good with other dogs and used a doggy door in her previous home.  Salsa is her partner and they would love to try and stay together if possible.

Poopsie

POOPSIE (or LAMBIE PIE as I call her) takes a while to warm up to new people.  In fact when she came to me from the Los Angeles area she was biting scared.  But now with a lot of care and patience she’s become a Little Lambie Pie!!!  At 9 pounds Lambie is a cuddly compact Terrier Poodle mix.  She is probably around 4 or 5 years old and was abandoned along with her daughter in a foreclosed property.  For 6 long months the realtor brought them food and water but otherwise the only company they had was each other.

Now her life can change for the better with an adoptive mom and or dad she can settle in and offer someone a lifetime of dedication and love.

Lambie is sponsored by the Southern California Pomeranian Rescue (a registered Non-Profit) and her adoption fee is $250.00.  She is being fostered in Petaluma, CA.

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Rusty.

  Rusty

Rusty is a 6 year old, micro chipped 11 pound male Pom.  Rusty was a sad little stray that was in the shelter for a very, very long time.  He was very adoptable, but nobody wanted him because he needed to have his teeth cleaned.  We knew about him, but we had no room available.  There are so many Poms in need and so few homes available.  So there he sat, waiting and waiting for his loving forever home.  Then along came an angel!!!  A wonderful woman felt sorry for little Rusty but she wasn't looking for a dog.  She called us and said if we would take him, she would foster him for a short period of time.  Joanna, Rusty's angel, says he is a very social little guy, loves other dogs and cats, loves to go for walks, he is HOUSEBROKEN, and best of all Joanna is having his teeth cleaned!

Davey

Davey is a 1-2 year old, cream and white, neutered male Pomeranian.  Davey weighs 15 pounds loves other dogs, large and small and is good with cats!  Davey was found wondering the streets of San Francisco, alone and hungry.  We had no room at that time and San Francisco Animal Control agreed to keep him for us for one month until we had room.  Davey would be great with an active family with well mannered children 9 years or older. He is a smart boy and needs to have obedience classes, as all young dogs do, so both Pommie and Human's are happy!  If you want a loving, happy, active boy for your family, Davey might just be the one for you!

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Davey.

Leia

"My name is Princess Leia, but you can call me “Leia.”  I came from a home where there were no people, and it was just me and my mom living there alone until we came to Northern California.  I didn’t understand what was going on and was very scared, but I’m getting used to it all.

I’m potty-trained and I LOVE to go outside for long walks to the park with my foster sister.  I’m going to miss her very much when I find my forever home, so you’ll have to have another small furry friend for me to bond with.  Big dogs and crowds of dogs are scary—I get very uncomfortable and duck under my foster mom’s legs.  I like to sleep in my bed and stay near my furry foster sister most of the time, but I get very excited when my foster parents come home from work.  I am starting to love people very much, but I am still scared.  I am hoping to someday go to a great family where there will be lots of love and encouragement so that I may learn how to do new things and not be so shy anymore.  Will you be the one to help me??

Jo Jo

JoJo is a 2 year old, very sweet and loving little Pom x (perhaps some Sheltie or Corgi).  He's a hefty 20 pounds.  He is housetrained, crate trained and does not beg.  He is a joyous soul who delights in playing with his foster brothers and going for pack hikes on the trails.  He will need a firm pack leader to continue his leash training, as his joy exceeds his ability to contain himself, so when he sees other dogs on his walks he will struggle and strain and yap to get there as fast as possible.  He is still somewhat suspicious of humans and takes a few minutes to warm up to each new one.  This may be due to his sad past, the only part of which we know is the time he did at San Francisco Animal Care and Control where he did not show up well, but cowered and shook with fear in the back of his cage, putting off any potential adopters.  Now that he's been in foster care for several months, he's a mostly secure, highly entertaining little fellow who would be wonderful in a family with caring, loving, supervised children above the age of 6.  Another dog or two wouldn't hurt either, as he's truly adjusted to being a member of a pack, and thrives at the bottom of the totem pole in a very submissive, yet engaging way.

Lil Red

Lil Red is a 4 year old, housebroken, micro chipped,  approx. 10 pound male Pom who has recently had a dental.  Lil Red came to be with us as a result of a broken home.  He was sharing a household with 3 generations and the youngest generation teased him mercilessly.  He became so fearful of humans he started hiding under the bed for refuge.  He also had a terrible flea allergy that has now been cleared up.  Lil Red is a wonderful companion and he is extremely loving and gentle.  He is very good with dog's he has had a chance to meet.  He would be fabulous as an only dog as well.  He is a dream with cats and even loves to cuddle them.

An adoption fee of $250 is being requested for Lil Red.
