Jewel: a 4 year old, purebred Chihuahua, spay, female, up-to-date on shots and micro-chipped.

Jewel arrived a very timid 5 pounds female looking for an adult only home with no children under 16 years of age. Jewel was crate trained but not house trained, doing just great with cats and some other dogs but was ideal for a quiet home or apartment lifestyle. When threatened Jewel would snap or bite if needed. She arrived missing two toes from her back foot. This poor girl desperately needed a calm loving home that would be understanding of her special needs and behavior.

Jewel was placed in a wonderful loving home with two adults. Jewel's new family are active members of their local Human Society and are experienced with shelter/rescue pups.
